The Manage Snapshots tab is where you’ll create and publish snapshots. Once all the Campaign Settings are configured in your campaign, you are ready to set up your campaign’s snapshots and prepare for going live.
A Snapshot is a defined collection of copy and settings that will appear on your campaign for when the vote is live.
There are two types of snapshot types, a Ranking Snapshot and a Closed Snapshot.
Ranking Snapshot: An open snapshot that is used to set up all the Rankify contestants, vote settings, and copy. This type of snapshot is used when the Rankify is live. Settings within the Open Snapshot includes:
- Contestants: includes the “vote choices” that user will use when completing their ranking submission.
- Vote Settings: defining the order of the choices, identify the values available for the ranking options, and determine if the ranking will be weighted or not weighted.
- Snapshot Views: set the main headline and description copy for the page, as well as the copy for the thank you page, the results page, and social sharing.
Closed Snapshot: A closed snapshot will be used when the Rankify is not active and does not support active user participation. This snapshot type is used before the campaign goes live, as an interstitial between Rankify activations, and when the campaign has ended. Settings within the Closed Snapshot include:
- Closed Page: Headline copy, description copy, image.
- Countdown Clock: Choose to have the countdown clock turned on/off, date for the countdown, description for before and after the countdown clock finishes, and clock label copy.
