Clients, Accounts, and Campaigns are pulled directly from Connect (where they are created) and Campaign Manager. Report Jobs are created based off of the Campaigns.
- Client: Root client (e.g. NBC or BBC) under which Accounts live.
- Account: Overarching project Account for under a Client. An Account can have multiple campaigns set up within it. E.g. The Voice Season 13 is the Account for the 13th season under the NBC Client, but you will also see previous seasons/other Accounts listed under the Client.
- Campaign: The individual Campaign under an Account. Reports are run under individual Campaigns. There can be multiple Campaigns under an Account often representing a specific vote method, ruleset, or set of widgets/CMS. E.g. The Voice Season 13 Account contains 14 Campaigns covering: Apple, iTunes, CMS (widgets), Online Ruleset, Online Counters, AppRuleset, App Counters, myXfinity Ruleset, myXfinity Counters, Twitter Duets, Twitter Save and X1.
- Report Job: A request in Campaign Reports using specific parameters (time period, time zone, etc.). A Report Job can have one report or multiple reports.
Reports need to be run under the specific Campaign you need results for. Not every Campaign will yield report results. (E.g. those specifically for Connect Counters or CMS). If in doubt about which Campaign to run reports under, ask your TechOps contact.
